Roasted Brussels Sprouts

By far, my favorite brussels sprouts recipe.

Ingredients

  • Brussel sprouts
  • Balsamic vinegar
  • Olive oil
  • Seasoning:
    • Dry oregano
    • Italian seasoning
    • Black pepper
    • Herb salt (a mixture of sea salt, thyme, rosemary, basil, tarragon and fennel)

Steps

  1. Wash the sprouts in cold water, cut off the end bit, and halve them.
  2. Put them in a bowl and add olive oil (generous), vinegar (light), and seasoning. Toss to coat evenly.
  3. Arrange halves on a sheet pan and add a little more seasoning.
  4. Bake on 450F for about 30-35 minutes or until the outsides are beginning to char and the insides are reasonably tender.
