I could happily eat BBQ chicken everyday.
This simple recipe has become a staple of my weekly diet. Its preparation is fast and easy (it doesn’t requires any legitimate barbecuing techniques), and the seasoning and sauce can be tailored to your preference. Although it can’t quite measure up to grilled BBQ chicken, it does deliver classic BBQ flavor.
It’s really an ideal food for a hungry college student because its tasty, filling, healthy, the ingredients are relatively inexpensive, and it can be made in large batches and used for several meals over the course of a few days.

Ingredients:
- Chicken cut of your choice (I usually use boneless and skinless chicken thighs)
- Olive Oil
- Barbecue sauce (Use your favorite)
- Recommended seasoning:
- Barbecue spice mix (use your favorite)
- Hot chili powder (spicy)
- Red pepper flakes (spicy)
- smoked paprika
- Salt
- Pepper
- Other spices of your choice
Steps:
- Place chicken pieces on a parchment lined shallow edged pan
- Lightly cover each piece in olive oil
- Add generous quantities of seasonings
- Bake on 400F
- After about 35 minutes of baking, lather the chicken in BBQ sauce
- Cook for another 10-15 minutes (about 45 minutes total baking time)
